Since the mid 2000s, the BBC has been using the principles of linked, and graph, data, to power and connect up the various parts of its website. From leading the way with open linked data, to enabling coverage of major sporting events through triplestores, the BBC has been putting the theory to the test. This talk will review the successes, and challenges, of implementing a vision of a single, connected BBC, as well as giving insight into the future of structured data across the cultural and journalism sectors.
